FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.

Everything you need to know about our products, ingredients and how they work.

CLEAN
Omega 3.

What makes Clean Omega 3 different from fish oil?

Our DHA comes directly from microalgae — the same organism fish eat to obtain omega-3s. By going to the source, we eliminate the fish entirely, along with the heavy metals, PCBs, microplastics and oxidation risks that come with fish-based processing. The result is a purer, more bioavailable DHA with a TOTOX oxidation score consistently under 5. The average fish oil scores 20–40+.

What is the DHA content per serving?

Each serving delivers 500mg of algae-derived DHA — a clinically relevant dose aligned with the quantities used in peer-reviewed research showing cognitive and cardiovascular benefits. We recommend 2 capsules per day with food.

Is Clean Omega 3 suitable for vegans?

Yes — entirely. No fish, no animal products, no animal-derived capsule shell. Clean Omega 3 is certified plant-based and suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

What does nitrogen-flushed mean and why does it matter?

Omega-3 oils oxidise when exposed to oxygen — producing rancid, harmful compounds. We flush every capsule with nitrogen to displace oxygen before sealing, preventing oxidation and preserving freshness from production to consumption. This is why our TOTOX score stays under 5.

How should I take Clean Omega 3?

Take 2 capsules daily with food. DHA is a fat-soluble nutrient and absorbs significantly better when taken alongside a meal containing some dietary fat. Morning or evening — consistency matters more than timing.

Are there any allergens?

Clean Omega 3 is free from gluten, dairy, soy, nuts and shellfish. It contains no common allergens. All batches are independently tested to confirm this.

PHYTOPLANKTON
Omega Plus.

What is phytoplankton and why is it so nutrient dense?

Marine phytoplankton is a single-celled microalgae that forms the foundation of the ocean's food chain. It produces the original omega-3s that all marine life depends on, while also containing naturally occurring vitamins, minerals, amino acids, antioxidants and chlorophyll. Unlike isolated supplements, Phytoplankton Omega Plus delivers these nutrients in a whole-food matrix — the way nature intended.

What is the DHA content per serving?

DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) is the primary structural omega-3 in the brain and nervous system. EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) plays a more active anti-inflammatory role and is associated with heart, joint and skin health. Phytoplankton Omega Plus is rich in EPA and provides a broad spectrum of supportive nutrients alongside it.

Can I take this alongside Clean Omega 3?

Yes — many of our customers take both. Clean Omega 3 provides a concentrated DHA dose for brain and cognitive support, while Phytoplankton Omega Plus adds EPA and a broad spectrum of whole-food nutrients. Together they offer comprehensive omega-3 and micronutrient coverage.

What is the recommended dose?

We recommend 2–4 capsules daily taken with food. Start with 2 and increase as needed. As with all fat-soluble nutrients, absorption is improved when taken alongside a meal.

Is it suitable during pregnancy?

Phytoplankton Omega Plus is free from the contaminants — mercury, PCBs, microplastics — that make fish oil a concern during pregnancy. However, as with all supplements during pregnancy or breastfeeding, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider before use.

PHYTOPLANKTON
Super Greens.

What's in Phytoplankton Super Greens?

Phytoplankton Super Greens is a whole-food powder containing 90+ naturally occurring nutrients from marine phytoplankton, including omegas 3-6-7-9, vegan EPA and DHA, adaptogens and probiotics. It's a complete daily supplement designed to support energy, immunity, gut health and cognitive function.

How do I use it?

Mix one scoop (approximately 6g) into 250ml of water, juice or a smoothie. It has a natural pineapple flavour that mixes well with most liquids. Best taken in the morning for an energising start to the day. Do not mix with boiling water as this may degrade heat-sensitive nutrients.

Does it contain caffeine or stimulants?

No. Phytoplankton Super Greens contains no caffeine, stimulants or synthetic energy compounds. Any energy benefit comes from the dense micronutrient profile and adaptogen content supporting your body's natural energy systems.

What are adaptogens and what do they do?

Adaptogens are natural plant compounds that help the body adapt to and manage stress. They work by modulating the stress response system — helping to reduce cortisol spikes, support energy levels and improve resilience over time. The adaptogens in Super Greens are included at evidence-based doses.

Can children take Phytoplankton Super Greens?

Phytoplankton Super Greens is formulated for adults. For children, we recommend our dedicated Kids Clean Omega-3 DHA Dropper, which is specifically formulated for younger users. Please consult a healthcare provider before giving any supplement to a child.

How long does one pouch last?

Each 180g pouch contains approximately 30 servings at the recommended daily dose of one scoop (6g). Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Reseal after each use to maintain freshness.

FERMENTED
Chlorella.

What is fermented chlorella and how is it different to regular chlorella?

Chlorella has a tough outer cell wall that limits nutrient absorption when consumed in its raw form. Our fermentation process breaks down this cell wall, dramatically improving the bioavailability of chlorella's nutrients — including its high chlorophyll content, protein profile, vitamins B12 and D, and essential minerals. Fermented chlorella is significantly more digestible and better tolerated than standard chlorella.

What are the key benefits of chlorella?

Chlorella is one of nature's most nutrient-dense whole foods. It supports detoxification — binding to and assisting in the elimination of heavy metals — immune function, gut health, energy and natural chelation. It is also one of the few plant sources of active vitamin B12, making it particularly valuable for vegans and vegetarians.

How do I take Fermented Chlorella?

We recommend starting with a smaller dose and gradually increasing over 1–2 weeks to allow your body to adjust. The standard daily dose is 3–6 tablets per day taken with water, ideally before or with meals. If you are new to chlorella, begin with 1–2 tablets and build up progressively.

Will chlorella cause any digestive side effects?

Some people experience mild digestive changes — including changes in stool colour or consistency — when first taking chlorella. This is a normal detoxification response and typically settles within the first week. Starting with a lower dose and increasing gradually minimises this effect. If symptoms persist, consult a healthcare provider.

Is it safe to take if I am on medication?

Chlorella has blood-thinning properties due to its vitamin K content, which may interact with anticoagulant medications such as warfarin. If you are taking any prescription medications, please consult your healthcare provider before starting Fermented Chlorella.

Is Fermented Chlorella tested for heavy metals?

Yes — every batch is independently tested for heavy metals, microbial contaminants and purity. Our chlorella is grown in controlled freshwater environments, not open water, which significantly reduces contamination risk. All results are available on request.
